Village of Laurium

Harju, Junot, Koskiniemi, Lanctot, Rastello and Turner.

Kurt Erkkila, Jon Koskiniemi, James Lemler, Edward M. Vertin, and Daniel Zubiena.
The meeting was
called to order in the village council chambers by President Bausano at
5:30PM. The purpose of this special
meeting was for a budget work session.
Village Administrator
Vertin reviewed the General Fund’s income statement, going over the revenues
and expenses compared to last year’s statement.
Questions from the council were answered. Vertin feels comfortable with the financial
situation in the General Fund.
After the October
statements are run, most of the timing differences between this year and last
year should be reflected. Comparisons
will again be made between this year and last year. The statements will be reviewed to see if
they are in line with the year-end budget.
At 6:24PM, a motion
was made by Lanctot and seconded by Koskiniemi to adjourn.
