Public Hearing/Special Meeting

Present for Roll Call: Bausano, Junot, Lanctot, Rastello (5:17PM) and Zei.

Absent: Harrell.

Guests: Jon Koskiniemi, Sharon Turovaara and Edward M. Vertin.

The public hearing was called to order in the Village Council Chambers by President Pro Tem Bausano at 5:15PM.

The purpose of the public hearing was to discuss the proposed millage rate for 2003-04. Village Administrator Vertin gave an overview how the millage rate is calculated and answered questions from the council and guests relating to these computations.

The public hearing closed at 5:30PM.

The special meeting was called to order in the Village Council Chambers by President Pro Tem Bausano at 5:30PM.

Present for Roll Call: Bausano, Junot, Lanctot, Rastello and Zei.

Absent: Harrell.

The purpose of this special meeting was to adopt the millage rate for 2003-04. Vertin read the resolution into the minutes (a copy follows). A motion was made by Rastello and seconded by Zei to approve the millage rate as presented. Carried 5-0.

The meeting adjourned at 5:34PM.
